Mark Twain water temp?

Im trying to plan a trip down to mark twain in the next few weeks and was wondering if anyone has had any luck down there? live bait or jigs and what color? also what water temp have you had the best luck at the lake? Ive been fishing for a good 15 years but just started navigating on my own so its a whole new learning process.

Main lake water temp just dropped back to 43 as of today........ if you're looking for spawn, still gonna be awhile. Starting to catch some fish though.....check out this website. The guys/gals are good people at South Fork and won't steer you in the wrong direction.
