They just announced(TV station 13 sports 6pm today) that MU will have to look for a new basketball coach as the current one has sold out to Arkansas (reports are 7year deal for 2.2 mill)and will be going there, its about the all-mighty dollar

Good ridance. He ran his boys to death without the depth to back it up. They didn't have a chance 8 minutes into the 2nd half. The talent he had he used wrong.

Always shoot for the moon, if you miss you'll still be among the stars.
Coach Mike Anderson was sooo much better than Quinn Snyder. At least our BB players were hustling and held responsible for their actions, but my goodness, why couldn't we keep the in-state talent??!!! I went to MU and still remember the Peeler and Smith days. Hearnes Center was rockin back then! One side of me hates to see him go, the other side wishes him luck. I wish he wouldn't have held us hostage for more money and contract extensions because we have set a terrible precident for the next coach. If we gave into Coach MA's demands, then why would they expect anything less? I hope we get a good upstanding coach with the ability to keep our home-grown talent!
