Rain gear

i have the cabelas guide wear and they will keep you dry, in the summer time they can get pretty hot though.

I also have the new Frogg Toggs. It is very similar to the BPS 100 mph rain gear but will save you about $400. Everharts has the bibs and jackets priced at $49.99 a piece. I wore mine during the wind and snow on Tuesday and Wed. and never felt a breeze come through it. Seems to be very well made. You may check them out before pulling the trigger on the high dollar 100 mph gear.

Speck I had the same dilema last year and after looking both over very close, there wasn't the extra $$$ worth of difference for me. I bought the Qualifiers and have been is some nasty rain and stayed dry. Have had no problems with the zippers or velcro and I am rough on clothes. When I bought my jacket I was told it was being discontinued and only the Parka will be for sale. And like has been said, the bibs are a must...:D

I have had several different rain suits all of which leaked. I finally got fed up after spring camp last year and bought the BPS 100 mph suit. It has been the best rain suit I have ever had and would buy another in a minute. I recommend you buy one, you will not be sorry. I got the jacket and bibs.

I have had three sets of Cabelas guidwear. They used to be lifetime gaurenteed. Yea right! They pro rate them then keep jackin up the price. They (the suits) are pretty good when they are new. after a few years (two to three) they will not keep you dry. I just went to the army surpluss store and bought a complete gortex rain suit (like our boys are wearing in Iraq/afganistan) for $100. The seams in them appear to be better than the guidewear and they also have zippered vents under the arms.

Bought my 100mph suit 5 years ago, never had any problem, always dry and toasty
in any wet and windy weather. It is a little too much for warm weather but always dry. Probably some are cheaper, but in my opinion none better.
