The numbers seem to be increasing here in Missouri. I would like to see one but not close unless in a vehicle.

I would like to see them in the wild.... With my heart pounding, believeing in the goodness of God, and then making it home with some great stories to tell. I don't think we should shoot every lion we see. JMHO.

I did not know you hunted coyotes with a shotgun.

Rick we use to hunt coyotes with a 10 gage or 12 gage goose gun, after dark. sit in a tree stand and use a call to bring them in and blast away, always used a 270 or 223 in the daytime.

Makes sense, didn't think about hunting them like that.

Always been told that if you are 'yote hunting with a couple guys, one guy should always have a long rifle and another with a 10 or 12 gauge.... if you are calling, sometimes those dogs come in so fast you can't get a scope on em.

Say 'ello to my little friend!
