Eagle Days Smithville

We went up to Smithville today not sure to expect but was very much impressed by the demonstration in the building at the golf course. But was the best was seeing at least 9 Eagles at one time either roosting in the trees or at the edge of the bank on the ice. This was right east accoss the lake from the W boat ramp. Rangers had scopes set up for the people there to use on the ramp. Even had a fire going in a barrel. If you had binoculars you could sit in your vehicle and see them. Pretty awsome to our country's symbol so close to home. Makes you proud. Thanks to all.
