well as you all know I gave up the quest for deer last week, never seen a deer on the place, nothing, put the gun in the safe, cleaned and polished, ready for next year,

so yea you guessed it, went up to the pond to pick a few turnips for supper, and big ole deer standing at the salt lick, and two milling arround the back side of the pond, says I ummm these turnips are going to be good fried in bacon greese, you deer have a good year. stupid deer.

aint to hard to out smart me, Miss Sharon and I headed to town this AM and a 6 or 8 point is laying in the ditch in front of the house, big ole body and nice rack.
