    Default Girl friends first buck

Well, short story long :D opening day of rifle season was one I'll never forget! The girl friend put a great shot on this 8 point at 40 yards. I hunted with her all day and rattled his one in 2 hours before dark. He came in hooking trees, stiff leggs and all kinds of mad. She made a great shot threw the pop up blind, which by the way blows up like a balloon if the barrels not out the window lol.
She hunted hard and never gave up. I'm very proud of her! To see the smile and hear her scream after the shot will be something I'll never forget. Truely awesome. the cool part is she killed it at the exact same spot I killed my bow buck this year. Oh and the mini-deer in the pic isnt mine its her dads :p

I wish I could take some time off I'm about to go crazy, I dont know what a crappie looks like. My nephew is coming in to town this week to try to kill his first deer so maybe next week. I think I should be a full time deer guide lol I havent even duck hunted yet........ But the dam.... I have a new idea about it! I'm packing the big rods! I will catch some some of those monster gar (best eat'n fish that swims when its cold and fresh) I will pack an extra set of cloths those early spring swims get chilly
