    Default Westboro Baptist Church

hay all i havent been on here for a while been working to much, spending time with the wife and kids and working on my mud truck

i know its very short notice but im my home town of weston mo we have lost another to the war last week i did not know cj but i have had to watch 3 former class mates be layed to rest in weston but this time the westboro church will be there potesting so they are asking if u have some free time to help out ..

TOMORROW FROM 0945 TO 1030am-Westboro Members will be in WESTON,M.O. to "protest" the funeral of Sgt. 1st Class Charles M. Sadell. Per Gov. Jay Nixon, flags are to be at half-staff from the 7th to the 12th. NOW IS YOUR CHANCE TO STAND WITH THE PATRIOT GUARD. The funeral is at 1030 at Vaughn Funeral Home. The MORE people show in support-The MORE DISTANT THEIR VOICES ARE HEARD BY FAMILY

the patriot guard are planing to lead and follow the line the bigger the line is the farther back they will be from the site i was up there tonight at 6 and there are ppl from the church there already and there was about 300 people from weston there already showing there support so if u can make it ill be there in my big chevy mud truck

    thanks alot brian

Breaks my heart. My sympathy to the young man's family and friends. Wish I could be there, Brian, but I can't. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My sympathy goes out to the family and friends. If i could get there i would.
I tell ya i dont know that they should be allowed to call themselves a church group the way they act. Just makes me sick to think people in our Great Nation would protest our Hero's like that. Need to bring thier upitty A## out in the country for a good beatin.

My most heartfelt sympathy to the family; being a veteran, there is only one word that comes to mind, pitiful.

Sympathy to the family of one of our own.

Westboro Baptist Church makes me ashamed that I was even raised up as a Baptist. But what do you expect from Topeka, Kansas? You would think that someone would get something done about those nut cases!

We Christians tend to do more disservice to the Savior than help out. I'm guilty of this as well without intention at times. This is a prime example of a hate message and not the message of Love we are charged to spread. The Devil loves it when a group of 'professed Christians' act in this manner. It's a shame these folks carry the Baptist name on their church. They should be the 'Church of Disservice to the Savior' or Satan's Friends Church.

    Good one Kit!

I am not the best christian that I should be most of the time because I believe in fighting fire with fire.

You want to talk to me or be around me? Be aware I carry a gun 24/7, and if you want to take the chance, I will be the judge and jury for you!

LOL grand dad and grand ma always said if you wanted to see a good fight go to a Baptist Church Business Meeting! Granted I have attended some myself that kind of made the WWE look tame!

Well, I dont feel anywhere in Christian teachings, it is appropriate to cause more suffering to people who are experiencing the ultimate suffering already. God Bless our troops. Especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to insure freedom for others. It is a shame that some trample on these very freedoms and make a mockery of them. My prayers for SGT Sadell and his family.

Members of the Westboro Baptist church somehow believe that U.S. deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan are God's punishment for our country's tolerance of homosexuality and abortion. While its members identify themselves as Baptists, the church is an independent church not affiliated with any known Baptist conventions or associations, nor does any Baptist institution recognize the "so-called" Westboro Baptist Church as a true Bible-believing fellowship. In fact, mainstream churches (of virtually every denomination) stand is... (much like what you guys have voiced above) ...that Westboro's agenda and its message of hate are at vast variance with any and all fundamental Christian theology:

Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness. —1 John 2:9

In relation to judging others the bible says:
"Do not judge lest you be judged. For in the way that you judge, you will be judged; and by your own standard of measure, so it will be measured to you. And why do you look at the speck of sawdust that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck of sawdust out of your eye,' and behold, the log that remains in your own eye?" " You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to take the speck of sawdust out of your brother's eye." ~Matthew 7:1-5~

In relation to prudence the bible says:
"Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces." ~Matthew 7:6~

In relation to the trap of the reprobate mindset the bible says:
"And in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says, 'THEY WILL KEEP ON HEARING, BUT WILL NOT UNDERSTAND; AND THEY WILL KEEP ON SEEING, BUT WILL NOT PERCEIVE; FOR THE HEART OF THESE PEOPLE HAS BECOME DULL, AND WITH THEIR EARS THEY SCARCELY HEAR, AND THEY HAVE CLOSED THEIR EYES... LEST THEY SHOULD SEE WITH THEIR EYES, AND HEAR WITH THEIR EARS, AND UNDERSTAND WITH THEIRS HEARTS AND RETURN, AND I SHOULD HEAL THEM." ~Matthew 13: 14-15~

My prayers go up for SGT Sadell and his family and even the Westover bunch as well.
Thanks for the post and may God bless,
    Special K
