I'm looking for a bolt action .223 or 22.250 for Coyotes. Would prefer an older model with a wood stock instead of synthetic, but will consider all. If you have one you want to part with drop me a PM

I use a 270 with hand load 110grn for anything up to a coyote, I think you can buy 110grn cheap at almost any large spoting goods retailer, and then use 150 for larger game. The rifle are not to hard to find either.

I love my 243 with 85 grain shells but then again I also love my 30-06 with 110 grain shells too! I have field dressed coyotes using a 110 grain shell in a 30-06. OK SO I MISSED HIS HEAD WITH THE FIRST SHOT AND HAD TO GIVE HIM A BUTT SHOT WITH THE 2ND ROUND! BUT I GOT THE JOB DONE!

I have a Winchester 223 varmit rig, bolt action, wood stock, QD bipod, nice scope, less than 100 rds thru the bull/heavy barrel, some brass, reloader equipment. An interest that never paned out for me. Love to shoot praire dogs, now that is FUN.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Aww "dog" hunting. Now "that" is fun! My favorite rifle is a Savage 112v in a .220 swift, with a short barrel and a muzzle break. Loaded hot, close to 4000 fps, it really makes them jump. When the distances get out past 400 yds, then I switch to another 112v with a 26inch, 1.2 inch diameter Shilen premium barrell in a 25-06, with fiberglass stock and a 24 power leupold. Longest shot (by laser finder) was a 1200 yder. Yes, there was some luck involved in that one.

CZ is an "excellant" rifle, wouldn't mind having that one myself, but I have too many already.

Aw man! you make me jealous! That 25-06 with the Shilen should be an awesome combo for anything from dogs to deer! I can't afford a top notch varmint rig right now, just an old beater that still shoots good will do just fine:o
If hard pressed I can always use my old Parker Hale in 7MM Rem Mag:D Only problem is it takes about 15 seconds to re orient yourself after touching off one in that rig! You might as well forget a quick follow up shot if you miss the first time!
