    but just watched a striper/hybird white bass show on verses channel 151 on dish. looked like fun, up at the DAM they were tossing a jig 3in. and a spoon, think I should go up that way one of these days.

    I know they catch a lot of them just above Truman Dam.

    Those dang stripers can spool you in nothing flat! Used to fish for them in the San Joaquin delta South of Sacramento, Ca. We would watch for the gulls to start diving, then we would crank up and run full throttle as close as we dared and start jigging a big spoon while we snuck closer with the trolling motor. Seems the bigger ones lurked under the smaller ones chasing shad on the surface. I never did catch a huge one, but seen many a 40 pounder come out of there!
