    Default Vote For My Father-in-law

I generally stay out of the political posts on here, but wanted to tell everyone that my father-in-law, Allen Icet, is running for state Auditor in the Republican primary next Tuesday, August 3. In addition to his "regular" job as an engineer, he has been a state representative for 8 years. He's also served as chairman of the house budget committee since 2005--so he's part of the reason Missouri is surviving the economic crisis while other states are going broke. He's a Christian, an outdoorsman, and endorsed by the NRA. Our family would appreciate your vote on August 3.

You can read about him on his website, Allen Icet for Missouri State Auditor

    Thank you all!

Anyone's gotta be better than Susan Montee or (God Help Us) Claire McCaskill! He'll get my vote, Matt.

Yea, well there were 2 republicans in this primary, I did vote for Icet, but only because his opponent had nothing but negative campaigning.
I looked at both of their web sites and couldn't get anything about how they would do the job, but when all I hear on the radio is negative adds, I will not vote for that candidate, I don't care what party they are in.
I will probably vote for him in the Gen. election too.
