I like Rocky boots! The ones with the gortex outer with thinsulate in them, They are pretty lightweight and warm.

I usually just use any sort of good hunting boots but the under armour cold gear socks that both PW58 both got a few years ago are the best investment I have found period! With the socks I find that I don't need as good of quaility boots as before!

10 years ago I bought a pair of Muck brand boots. (mine are the "woody max") I have never even considered another type of hunting/fishing boot since. I get cold feet too and mucks have served me well. and they are super comfortable, light weight, and I can walk all day long in them or stand on the deck of my boat all day.
I also highly recommend the under amour "cold gear" sock liner, as well as the Red Head "gaurenteed for life" wool sock.the liner and the wool really work well together. then, on the cold days in the stand, I take an old, wore out pair of marino wool socks and stretch them over the toe of my boots and as far back to the heel as they will stretch. and as an added bonus, it quiets my foot movements on my metal deer stand. and on a really cold day, I slip a hand warmer in the oversock and stay toasty warm.

also, forgot to mention that if you go to your local farmers co-op or Mfa feed store type place, muck boots are about 30% cheaper than at bps or cabellas. you can get the deeeeelux pair for about 125$

I stopped buying expensive boots and started buying battery powered heated socks. My feet have been so much warmer in the stand or in the boat since I went this direction. The socks are not good if you are going to be doing a lot of walking but shine when you are sitting. I use wigwam socks if I am going to be walking from the local farm store. I use light weight water proof boots that I think I paid $60 for add the battery powered socks for $15 and 2 D batteries and I am set.

Any Rocky boot will treat you well. They have all kinds of Thinsulate amounts from 200 up to 1500 grams. I love Rocky as they are usually more light weight and warmer. I have poor circulation in my feet so I know what you mean by needing good warm boots. Best purchase you will make is a Rocky boot hands down!

Don't know if you are wanting leather or rubber boots, but I always highly recommend the Pronghorn model made by Danner.........hands down the best boot I've ever owned. They are leather and waterproof, and can be bought with different amounts of thinsulate insulation depending on what your want. I wear mine for everything cept bowhunting (I prefer scent resistent rubber for that), love them.

I am also looking for a good pair of warm rubber boots for treestand sitting.......am leaning towards the Muck boot, but still looking.
