    The internet sure has changed things.Ever since I was little I've heard not to store a battery on concrete,put it on wood.

    Yeh, but there are a lot out there who will say BS, I'm not putting MY batteries on concrete! Dad taught me better.
    I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)

    what ever your taught is mostly what you believe, with exceptions, now boys and girls men and women, batteries can not discharge on concrete,wood, metal, unless there is a current draw of some kind, just sicence fact, a normal,well charged battery will loose a small amount of charge do to attretion, but will not go dead, if the battery is good to start with, fact not opinion.... do a test you will see. anyway it makes good fodder for rainy days and mondays.......
