    Default Portable Satellite Antenna

Anyone out there seen or used one of those Winegard portable satellite antenna's on your RV?

Beagleman gave me a normal satellite antenna when we purchased the RV from him and Miss Sharon. I have tried a couple of times to try to use it a couple of times but you have to move it right and left and up and down. It is just drives me nuts and I have never gotten it to work right. I have a hard time getting it level and I am not to smart when it comes to hooking this stuff up anyway.

And after spending the last 5 weeks up at Lineville, Mo, I was going nuts without my Speed Channel! I was only able to get one TV channel up there from Kirksville, MO and that was a ABC channel. And I am not into Dancing with the Stars! Thank god PW58 located a Dish Satellite Antenna on the building a couple of weeks ago and figured out how to plug it into the RV trailer.

I have just purchased one of the Winegard antenna's today. It has a 12 volt plug on it that you plug it in and it is supposed to locate the satellite in a couple of minutes after you plug it in no matter where you are located at. I got the ladder mount for the RV and also the ground tridpod mount.

If you don't get a reply here, try asking Satdoc on the Mississippi board. I think this sort of thing is right up his ally.
