Doctors aren't always right. My stepmother has terminal cancer. According to the doctors she was supposed to be gone about 7 years ago.

Appreciate each day that you have. She used to get depressed trying to figure out why. I told her she shouldn't dwell on that. For whatever reason the good lord has given her extra time to enjoy life and family, so she should embrace that gift.

If you wouldn't mind tell him that there is a Redneck in Iraq thinking of him and his family. Adding them in his list of prayers.

Great words of advice, Redneck! It's very true that the Drs. aren't always right. I work at a small hospice agency and we've had folks admitted to hospice that weren't expected to live six months and were still on services in 6 years and enjoying life without pain!!! They were having this extra time to enjoy!!! Best wishes to Ace!!! :)

He needs to get past the shock and onto facing the treatment and surviving. I have seen this to many times now and the ones who take on the fight do far better and live longer then those that give up. Prayers to ACE and his Family.
