Montrose high school girls just won the class 1A state championship and stay undefeated for the season. All sophmores except one junior so look out next year also. Tonights was their losest scoring win at 43. They averaged 71 for the year.

Town of 400 and only 40 kids in the high school. They only had 7 girls dressed out for the game and 8 on the team.

Yeah I know the area! And that is so cool. And you know that the team doesn't have the funding as the larger schools do. But it's the good comunity up there that steps up to the plate to help out.
