First picture is how my day started.
Second picture is how my day ended.
Obviously not a good road trip to Illinois today for me.![]()
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

I hate it when that happens.
Can You Find, "LIMITVILLE!!!" :D
It was bad enough that the bearings seized up while I was in Illinois, but at least I had just dropped the truck off. So I took a ratchet strap and tried to give the axle and suspension some support as best I could. Figured with no load on I could make it for a 5 hour return trip.
So then, just as I had got into St. Louis..........BANG!!!!!!..........yep, there went the tire that was riding by itself. Certainly had enough spares though since I had already had to pull the other wheel and tire, plus I still had the original spare. But being down on my back, this certainly didn't help matters.![]()
