i fish in warsaw quite a bit below the dam and see lots of guys cleaning spoonbill. gotta check the regulations as to where you can legally fish for them and what the dates are, but that seems like the place to go.

never done it, just seen the aftermath at the boat ramp. they sure do pull a lot of them out of there!

I believe you have to stay down river from the hwy 65 bridge. I know there is a lot of fish caught at the mouth of the Sac and Osage river every year.

Sorry yes you can see part of town from there. All you have to do is look for the boats. Some people even fish from the bank and cast them big weights and hooks a mile out there and drag them back in.

a lot of folks snag out Tally bend ramp, up in the flat areas around the boy scout camp...... dam near can't use that single ramp duing the spawn for the snaggers, got tickled last year when the checked headed to our boat when we loaded out, I said I don't think any of our fish are long enough, then when I said we were crappie fishing he just grinned and said get outta here...... don't know how many they catch there, but they are out going after'em......

    Default Spoonbill?

do people eat those things? Are they a prehistoric fish like sturgeon or a catfish?
