Default 24 point buck, Crappie Novice you will like this

This is a pic of a deer shot south of Boonville MO opening day by the daughter of the folks that own the carpet store I work for.
Her dad was saying last week that he had never seen one of these alive. She shot it 150 yds from his stand, he has been hunting for many years and he has mounts from trips to Alaska etc. deer, elk, moose, bear, caribou, but this one makes his stuff look a little weak!!
24 points 18" spread, the base of the antlers were 8" diameter, her dad scored it unofficially as a 190 Boone and Crocket (don't know exactly what that means, I don't hunt).
Thought I would share it with you guys, I know allot of you hunt.

HOLY WOW good for her!!!!! I think killing it is a tribute to the deer because him and his beauty will live for ever. That is a true trophy
In our government-controlled schools we are taught that Lincoln was our greatest president because his war ended slavery and saved the Union. As usual, the other side of the story – the side that reflects poorly on the government – somehow gets lost. – Richard J. Maybury, The Abe Lincoln Hoax

Yea it is, Her mom was pointing out a spot on the wall where it would fit between the moose and another mount her dad had on the wall in the shop and she said "No way, this is going in MY house above my fire place"

That's a nice NT! Too bad the spread isn't wider. That one would score a bunch. Very impressive tho.

    Default You are correct, Quinn!

WOW! I've hunted every season for the last 28 years (until this year) and have NEVER seen anything even close to that! Amazing! I'd love to see that after she has it mounted. What a trophy!!! Thanks for sharing that with us. Really gives me the fever. Going to see if I can get off a couple of days next week during the week to see what's running on the farm.
