Was sitting drinking coffee watching msnbc when they showed a picture of the trade center and said that a small plane must have hit it. As they continued to watch, we all saw the second plane come into view and slam into the second building. And a little later one hits the Pentagon. It was indescribably. This kind of thing doesn't happen in America. The burning buildings, and all the Images from that day bring back so many feelings. The one thing that sticks in my mind and will never forget is Flight 93. How Brave those passengers were, even though they new they were going to die. LET'S ROLL!!
I will never forget it. I was sitting on the sofa having a cup of coffee and watching FOX news. My wife had just pulled out of the driveway, on her way to work at Whiteman, when the first plane hit. I thought it was just some terrible accident. I called my wife on her cell and told her about it. As we were talking I watched in horror as the second plane hit the other tower. No terrible accident any longer. When my wife got to the gate of Whiteman she told the guard what had just happened. He immediately got on the radio and called it in to his superiors. Then the report came that another plane had hit the Pentagon and another had crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. I cried for the ones who perished that day and for all those who would perish on foreign fields because of it. I still get very emotional thinking about it........but.......I don't want to ever forget!
