    Default boat trailer tires

found some I like way wider than the ones that come on the trailer, they are 185x10x13 I have had so much trouble with the tires on the trailer, they wear out in 6mo. or less, I sure hope these last longer, now I told y'all that to ask you this, what size do you use. and how long do they usually last, and before you ask or say anything, no I do not drive fast,

Man, I don't ever pull my own boat enough to even worry about wearing the tires out. But maybe Sam will comment on this in a little while. I know the old Rice Burner has worn the tires on his trailer out.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

Michael, I work in a Ford service dept. and have access to a lot of tire suppliers. To a man they recommend Towmaster radial tires. I have had two boats in the last ten years, have used Towmasters and have NEVER had a tire issue of any kind. I can tell you to stay away from Carlisle tires. When they blow they take trailer fenders and all. Just my 02 worth

Michael you will be happy to know that Chris 13 is no longer employeed as of the end of last week. Burgers are good for me, just going to have to be a bit before I can. Been really busy lately. Good to hear from ya.

I do not like Good Year I had nothing but trouble with them. I think I have Dunlop tires on now and have never had a problem.
