Default It was a srtuggle for me.

Got down to Bucksaw around 9:30 put in and headed to the flat at the cut-thru and caught 1 dink. Decided I would go try up river. Fished some standing timber straight across from Jackson and nothing. Then I noticed my fishfinder wasn't working, went to the back of the boat turned the key over and just like the fishing, nothing. Set there for about 10 minutes and flagged down the first boat coming past me and surprise it is Jigging15. He was kind enough to give me a jump. Headed to the marina and let the boat set running for about 15 minutes to let the battery charge up enough to head back out and wait for my buddy to show up. Get a call from him saying he would be in about 3:00. So I go run up and down the river goofing off. He gets there and we head back out and again we got nothing. Spent the night in the lodge and got up this morning and headed to the flat on past Opossom first drop pulled in a nice little channel and for the rest of the day nothing. I did get to chat it up with Jigging15, Just Jigging, and Stumpthumper for a while on Saturday it was good to get to talk to all of them.

Jared appreciate you stopping and giving me a hand and all the advice you guys gave me this weekend. It didn't work out for me this time but I know there will better days around the corner and I will be putting it to good use.

Was good talking with you. Fishing is slow right now for sure. Ingot back out today for a while and fishing was slow at best. I did spend some time marking some more tree rows that are barely sticking our of the water so I can rig over them later when the water comes back up. Better luck next trip. We will see ya at the September tournament if not before.

Thanks for posting anyway's Dabe. I've been after the crappie three times in August and have struggled each time. July was easy.

I'm a hoping so. I honestly didn't feel to bad about it. Talked to several guys on the water who were having just as much trouble as we were. It was beautiful weather to be out and about anyways. Got to spend the weekend with a good buddy drinking beer and shooting the bull so it wasn't all bad.
