Default Joedog, I Got a Feeling We're Not in Missouri Anymore

Another Perry Trip went well. Same as last time, started kid of slow. The spots we found last time weren't working much and some were vacant. We just kept looking to find decent and willing fish. Never measured so many fish, Perry is full of 91/4 to 9 15/16 crappie and they're all fat as heck so all of them look like 10+.

    Yeah, jigs...

I like the small profile...1/16th oz short shank with a smaller (1.25"?) body. I was using red & white, mostly.

Bill was using a jig with a larger profile. Also white, I think, until our lines got tangled and we had to cut each other's lines to undo them!! Then I think he switched to a smaller electric chicken and started catching more. (Coulda been a smaller profile, too, IMO??) For a while he switched to a larger jig...1/8th oz with a 3" tail, I think? They didn't seem to want that as much.

So...I'm not sure it was so much the color, but the size.

    (And...of course...who was more handsome!!)
