Monday mid day

Headed to lake after am rains were mostly over. Got on a brush pile using plastic tails had one taker. Switched over to jigs Jim tied for me over the weekend and tap tap set hook. Only got 3 off first spot with one being short headed off to other spots and one off of each spot for a total of 4 keepers. Got a call from Jeff wanted to go fishing on Tuesday decided we would try Truman. Must have been my good luck call as I got to next spot caught several right off for a total of 11. Thanks Jim for some hand ties and Jeff for my good luck phone call. Tuesday was a great weather day with lots of visiting but the catching part was poor for us. One drum, one bass, and 5 crappie all but 1 short. So lucky one got released. Was a good day out with Jeff we used to go quite often but life caught up with us this last year and we have not been able to get on the water together. Hope full that is over and we get back to full live wells.
