Smithville Report for Saturday 06/28/2025

Got on the water at 7am off at 11am water temp 80.5 and spawn seems to be over.

Caught fish every place I stopped but one spot. They were not on that shallow spot from a couple weeks ago for sure. First couple were keepers then I was left fighting off the shorts. It was a C&R day so on the TM a lot and would pick off a few keepers here and there. Used my clicker so caught 32 but 11 to 13 were keepers, well all are keepers at the Ville. Had one keeper I couldn't even make look good with the hdhntr (longarm) pose so no need to try. Now for a BUNCH of Pics (I was feeling very photogenic I guess) and yes the eagle was admiring my fish catching skills or stole my spot when I left!
