Default Lower End and Glaize Green Fish 5/20 to 5/22

The lower end of the LOZ continues to pump out numerous dinky bass. I actually got on a decent flipping bite with a Missile D-Bomb and had 7 or 8 just over keeper size. Wednesday I tried my luck in the Glaize and had a really good day with some good-sized fish. I started with top water... nothing happening, and then went to skipping banks with a Pigsticker Fat Back jig and twin tail grub trailer. When the sun got high I went to flipping wood cover with a Strike King Rage Bug and got a few more good fish. Thursday I went back to the Glaize and the flipping bite was gone and so was I by 1030. I briefly tried trolling cranks in party cove for crappie without any luck. I did, however, meet a new friend who swam up and ate PB&J right out of my hand.Name: Resized_20250521_064508.jpg

You shouldn't be harassing those Bass

The Trolling in Party Cove phrase should never be used!

Those are some chunky bass, look like they would hit the 5lb. mark or more. I'd be happy with fish like that but haven't hit a 4lber yet this year.

flipping in cover for good sized bass like that is fun WTG. I do that for crappie but you do get one of those nice bass to blast them too. Glad you had a terrific day.
