    Default If allowed...walleye on Truman question


    Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of trying to catch a walleye in March on Truman..I'll be there for a couple weeks close to Osage and pomme arms... Would like to sneak out and see if I can catch one...thanks

    I have caught walley up the pomm arm, up by the Island. also just up from Bucksaw Marina, on the bluff. well small bluff.

    id leave the boat and focus on the spillway at the dam. lotta stuff there in March including walleyes. just a white or chart jig tipped with minnow

    You can fish by the buoys from your boat. If you know how to work them, you shouldn't have a problem finding and catching them. I caught a couple off one point when I was spider rigging for crappie.
