Nice!

Haven't been in a couple weeks but got out Sunday for a bit early. Caught two biggins but they were non-targeted species.
Big Drum and I assume the other is a Buffalo? Not sure I've ever caught one but I did fight it for about 10 minutes and it pulled the boat around like a trolling motor then my line finally gave way. It was hooked in the mouth but just wrapped in the line when I snapped the pic. It was way bigger than that Drum.
I did end up with 10 keepers and really only caught a couple of shorts. The biggest ones, a 14 and nearly 15 incher both went back to swim the others are resting in my freezer. I had another real nice one (maybe over 15) right to the surface but he decided himself to go back for a swim!

I could have went tubing behind that thing. But I like non targeted species. Ask "ripnlips" I'm a gar specialist.

Interesting fish in the first picture. Buffalo have more of a stocky profile similar to a carp. I'm not positive but with the length and profile that might be a grass carp. They can get huge and will hit jigs. I caught two in the spring on jigs.![]()

WTG Bill way to get out and getrdone. NTS's can be a blast as they can really tug a line.
