Got up waY early had breakfast and boys went to their hunting spots. I drank coffee and decided to let it warm up. Soon the texts started flying. My son killed one at first light Buck!

I headed to lake started fishing and BOOM KABOOM HAPPENED. Bunch of nice ones. Moved around and they smacked my jigs. Using 64th trout magnet jig heads and pearl chartreuse then shad colored jigs. In around 10 fow 8 ft down or so. Crazy thing was caught all those late last night and most today on same jig despite getting stuck in brush quite a bit. Think tiny jig slipped off branches easier.

Then one guy killed 10 pointer. Then another killed huge 8 point. What a day!

Then the deer season annual fish squirrel fry commenced. That was epic as well
