I remember that vividly........ was in Sconnie for 6 years before relocating down here 3 years ago and this time of the year was brutal. Ice isn't safe but can't launch a boat on "inland" waters. We would always head out on Lake Michigan for the early cohos about this time. Walleye run just ahead of you too.Quote:

Today was a different story. Went up for a couple hours and didn’t catch squat. Wife didn’t like my text telling her I didn’t catch crabs. Dang talk to text! CRAP!
Usually fish the Mississippi River this time of year, the river is flooding high enough they closed all the landings up and own the river. It is getting ugly for people living near or on the river.
