Looked at the weather for today. High of 53 with winds under 10 mph. Had to try. Picked up the old baseball coaching buddy at 7am and headed south. Got minnows at Everharts and we’re on the water by 9am. Put the spider rigging rods out and started catching right off. Had 16 fish between 10 and 12 inches on the first pass. The bite varied between nothing for 20 minutes to having fish on 4 rods at once. It wasn’t nonstop but we put #30 in the livewell at 1pm. Just a beautiful day on the water. Looks like high of 32 and 15 mph winds Thursday so glad we got this trip in. Fish were mostly 8 to 10 feet down but would even hit with 3 feet of line out when running at 50% to reposition. Water temp was 43 degrees. Get out there and get you some!!!Name: IMG_2837.jpg
