You all know how hard it is when the fishing guru's call and say your favorite lakes are HOT and they are BIGGER than last week. But your still recovering from heat exhaustion from last weeks furnace and not prudent to go by yourself as run out of energy quickly while scrambling on the bank. Plus need to spend time doing that wife maintenance thingy as she has been letting you go quite a bit.

So only did 30 minute run to LSL and hooked up w captain crappie and we went looking for roaming schools. He knew where they should be and we started ketchn. Not huge ones mostly 8.5 to 10 but good fighters and willing to bite one of Jim's good jigs so filled my bucket quickly.
