On the banks

Went to bigger private lake where a buddy gave me heads up that were spawning. Yesterday with the wife but she just wouldn't listen and didn't ketch any. I caught 24. Gave them to friends.

Went back today and got my 30 fish limit in an hour or so. 8.5 to 9.5 primarily almost all males. Wife did get a few.

Havnt been out. Going back Wed but with bymo who wants to fish


and morels. Always next week for turkey.

best thing was about these fish? Had friends who really love them some crappie and took the buckets and didn't have to clean them for them!

took bymo and his wife to this place next day after a cold front went thru and fish wern't there! just picked up a few BG, bass and 4 marginal keeper crappie.

But then went to our docks at LSL where we keep our toon and got into dozens and dozens of crappie for them and they had a ball. Unfortunately they were 4 to 7 inches but still a ball to ketch in quantity.

best part of that day was when after our two wives were ketchn them good and bymo, I went down to a place on edge of property I never fish but heard it was good and got into an even BETTER bite that was crazy. then went back and got bymo and his wife and they went down and whacked em even faster. Plus bymo had found a spot I told him about before that that was constant ketchn so Love it when you can put your friends on fish. unreal the amount of crappie we all caught and didn't h ave to clean em all!

bymo did end up keeping 5 9 inchers or so just to have some FRESH.
