Default From lake to skillet few hours.

Mac called and said trout lake had opened up enough to fish so once again it was Gear up time. Put corn in nibbles jar then poured oil from sardine can in and added minced garlic. Caught two skillet sized ones quickly with small hook on leader on ultra light rod before mac had to leave. Thought oh boy here we go but ended up w 3. Just couldn't ketch that last one. My bud JP showed up and caught 1 and I had several bites but missed them.

Went home cleaned them. Trout, it's what's for dinner tonight. Sautéed in bed of garlic and onions. Will b on them again in morning.

Can't get much fresher than that. Always a good day to catch and eat.
