Went up to the new camper at Truman this week. Planned to fish the week. Tuesday rained all day, Wednesday went out with a buddy and caught some on the bank. Fishing was a little slow just yet. My buddy had to come back to Springfield Wednesday afternoon for a Dr. appointment, so I planned on hooking my boat up and getting after them. Was not in the cards, turned the key on the truck and click. Of all the times not to have my multimeter! A neighbor took me to Warsaw and I replaced the battery, it showed six years old. It needed replaced, put it in truck and click. Damn, it's the starter! No cell service, wouldn't you know it. Wandered around the RV Park with phone held out looking for cell service. Phone finally came to life, got a hold of my wife and son. Son came up after work with the jack and jack stands. Brought his tools, and we got the truck going. Thanks to Dirtrider 389 and my Grandson for coming up and saving me! Decided to stay the night and come home in the morning. Truck has an appointment at the shop for Monday. Will try this again Tuesday or Wednesday, and spend the week again.
