    Default Truman (Berry Bend)

Hi all, I’ll be fishing Truman the week of 22June. How is the water levels and clarity this year. I get there once a year from Colorado. I love that lake, I caught my very first crappie there when I was a kid.

We have been fishing just up lake from there at Tally Bend. Water has some color but not bad. High enough to still be in the buck brush but you should be fine. Most of our bite has been 8-10 feet down but try some shallow water. Caught quite a few last week in 5-8 FOW. Be careful running, there is a lot of floating in the main channel.

Berry Bend ramp good for a workout! Fished with a guy out of that ramp who loved that area. We would head out turn right and fish cedars and do pretty well.

Uh huh. It's a bit steep. I always hook my winch strap to the boat before pulling out.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.
