Took a solo trip to Clearwater today. Lake is high. Took me a couple of hours and a gazillion dinks to find some good fish. I wound up rescuing fifteen from the insane madhouse the lake will become this weekend. Found the best fish cruising the outside of the flooded buck brush and willows. Didn’t keep any under 11 inches. The best was 14 1/2. Best colors were red/char, purple sparkle/char and pumpkin seed/char. It was cloudy all morning.
