Solid bite trolling cranks yesterday and today. Fished two hours before dark on Friday and had 8 keepers with one 13 and a couple 12 inch fish. Today I caught a lot of fish. I had 14 of my limit in about two hours trolling one long strip and then I just wanted to explore new spots so moved several times. Some were very good and some not so good but I learned a lot about their current pattern. I need to get my gear consistent. The line on the reels is a mix of 8, 10 and 12 lbs making it hard to determine the depth. All in all a great couple days with lots of crappie for the fryer.
