Has anyone used the Johnson Beetle Spin successfully to catch a lot of good consistent crappie. From what I have read, it is especially effective during the Pre-Spawn(which is what I am looking for)

Also, to make things even better, has anyone tried combining the Beetle Spin with either a Rooster tail or something like a Road runner head? I would think the double spinners couple be an amazing crappie slaying machine but was curious if any of you had tried it!
