Made my trip to Millwood

Finally made my trip down to Millwood Lake, AR. I went to see if I could still catch big crappie. Apparently I still can. Caught 4-7 big ones each day. Black and pink jigs on secondary creek channels and in 12 foot of water about 8-10 feet down on hedge trees.

Seen that lake on In Fisherman years ago and said I need to go there one day still on my list. Nice fish for sure. They were dipping cypress trees on the show.

Yea it does. It’s been about 10 years since I fished it last. I grew up 1 1/2 hours away.
