Default First Walleye of the year

Stockton was not cooperating yesterday Richard (ripnlips) and Jeremy (tink) caught 3 plus a white at CC before moving to greener pastures and joining up with me by the 245 bridge. Why not try to fish the whole lake in a day? Anyhow no luck and they pulled anchor around 430 and I stayed to see if I could catch any walleyes the evening bite was on caught 2 walleyes and at least a dozen bass using a roadrunner paddletail body tipped with a minnow.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Just like you to call us just as we got the boat loaded and everything put away. Was a good day out fishing though hopefully next time will be a better catching day for us. Hope you remembered to check your mailbox.
