    Default LOZ Little Niangua 3-26

Caught a good amount yesterday evening, but almost all were shorts. Ended with 6 keepers and probably had 30 shorts. I think the high # of shorts were a result of maybe fishing fishing too shallow (5-6 FOW).

Tried the slab sauce for the 1st time and caught more fish with than without, just wish it would've lead to more keepers.

    Good job.
If we did what was most important in life there
would be a shortage of Bibles.................and fishing poles

We were down last week. Pretty much overcast and rainy most of the week with the exception of Friday. Water on the Little N. was stained and low, however came up Friday night a fair amount. Water clarity on the Big N was better. Temps. for me ranged from 48 - 53 depending on time of day and where you were. Caught enough every time we went out to keep it interesting, but certainly wasn't "gangbusters" fishing. Biggest was 12.5". Heading back in a couple weeks. Expecting, or should I say hoping, the water will be up more then and temps will be closer to the magic number sending 'em shallow.
