Ice is melting off of the local lakes, and the itch is getting worse. This is the perfect time to start checking your batteries, oiling up the trailer hubs, tightening connectors, verifying electronics still work, and air in your tires are good, etc. etc.
Did my check this evening and found a dead starting battery. I would have been highly upset if I found this out on the water. Tomorrow I put new line on my reels. Have a good one guys and gals.
