HELLO What colors are good to start off with in spring time for LOZ. Will be fishing around the 15 mile marker from the bank & dock. I will be using garland baits. Both clear & stained water. If their is a better bait let me know as I have not been crappie fishing for a long time.
thanks for any help or infomation

I Don't Know,but I can always use help
Blue Ice, Monkey Milk and Elec Chicken. Good luck.
was just thinking of ordering some slabanator stuff. heard good things on here about them. so many colors to choose from. also starting at loz.
Anything with a white tail if visibility is 3’ or more and a chartreuse tail if less than 3’. If I had to pick two colors, I would go with blue/white and blue/chartreuse.
Kalin’s triple threat grub in chartreuse shad or acid rain and 1/16th ounce pink jig head.
Acid Rain in the Southern Pro hot grubs is probably the best selling LOZ Crappie bait we sell at the store. Next would be Blue Ice Baby Shad by Bobby Garland. Pumpkinseed/Chart is my favorite down at that end of the lake.

might try limegreen -char and red-char
Bobby Garland slayers blue ice for clear to slightly stained, blue grass for stained to dirty.....just about the only thing I throw anymore except minnows
