Hubby had the day off. So checked weather forecasts and no rain for that area. Ok time to head north. Didn't rain up there but was windy and chilly. Hubby brought home 7 and I had 11. A couple nice ones. Some mid size but a lot of smaller fish. Through back several dinks to grow up. Minnows and nibbles. Only 2 females with eggs. Had to tie up or anchor on bank and wait them out. Was checked by a nice conservation agent. He said we were doing a lot better than anyone else he had checked. Getting checked up there has become normal. Glad to see them out in the water checking people. Maybe it will discourage people from double or triple dipping. Or at least make it very expensive to do so.
