    Default Below Truman Dam

Stopped remodeling for a day and took a quick trip to Warsaw, stopping by the area below the dam-- there were a lot of cars in the lots on both sides of the river, and guys were fishing. I'm guessing it's walleye time but is that all that they're fishing for?

I think I've got the program from what I've seen-- jigs and grubs.

So what is the deal? It was slack water at the time, but I'm guessing fishing is probably better when the dam is generating...

    Any hints appreciated...

    thx.

Walleye is the prefered catch. Must keep jig near bottom.easy to loose tackle.
stop inCody's bait shop for swarm bodies. 1/8 oz jig.

also some, crappie and white bass being caught on same tackle.

The walleye have slowed due to MDC shocking and taking females for milking.

crappie certainly picking up and the last hour into dark is good.
