I am going to duck creek on Monday and wanted to see if crappie were biting and temp of water today?
Welcome from Cape Girardeau. I haven't heard any reports on Duck Creek lately. I've only been to Wappapello once this year. Let us know how you do.

I haven't been there this year yet but wouldn't worry about reports anyway if I was thinking about trying it. The water is probably mid fifties about like most other places. Even if the Lake is not " turned on" where everybody is catching them...its the time of year to catch some big ones . Finding the exact spot and best jig and presentation now that can be the trick. Suppose to be warm around 70 with a chance of storms in the morning and wind below 10 miles an hour in the afternoon... Duck Creek can just be a mystery sometimes but dang it's got quality fish.Still one of the only places I know to catch huge bluegill . Water should be warming good now that the nasty cold snap is over...probably jump up on Monday .
