    Default Keepers biting, but......

Fish are biting, but tough to get fish over 10". Came down about an hour before dark and went out for that hour. Fished 8 spots quickly just to get a pattern for the next couple of days. Caught 2 fish right at 13" and had another heavy fish on. Caught on brush in 6-8 fow about 5' down. Didn't keep any, but was real encouraged for the next day.
Got out, fished the same spots for about 2 hours and nothing. Maybe a small fish or two. Moved around a bit and fished a couple more hours between casting, shooting and dipping, caught fish, but only 2 @ 10". I will say I did catch a decent amount of crappie in the 9"range.
This morning, got back to shooting docks, and that was it. Fished about 4 hours, kept 13 over 10 (10.5 was probably the biggest). Lots of fish between 9 and 10.
Color didn't seem to matter, I had ice blue on one stick and blk/chart on the other. I'd say 90% were black crappie and they bit within 1-3' from the surface. 32 oz jigheads did best. Best docks were ones in 12-15'.

Lots of Pelicans on the lake, and also saw 2 eagles that must have had a difference of opinion.
