I know it's hairy up that way but is it safe to run the channel

If you can stay in the channel it is plenty deep even with the lake being low. Get out of the channel and it can get shallow real quick in places. Also lots of stumps along the channel edge in places. The other big hazard is the rail road tracks about half way between the Foot and Otter. It has eaten a lot of lower units, fiberglass and pride of the drivers over the years. The opening is not very wide and the rest of it is only about 1' under the water right now at best. Most of it is out of the water on the south end of it.
