Truman Friday Evening
First time to Truman. Put in at free ramp below Tightwad at 3:30. Went to the right to a big cove where there were 3-4 other boats. It was SLOW. Others were catching here and there, me, zip. I kept moving and still nothing. Then all the sudden around 6:30, here come the other boats. By 7 PM there had to be 11 other boats in the cove. I knew I must be in the right place. Between 7:15 PM and "whatever time it is when you can't see your bobber land" it was constant action. Ended up with 7 nice ones all over 10" with many others missed. Fishing 18" under bobber with minnows on the bank. It wasn't like the legend I was hoping for, but a nice day never the less! Thanks to the fellas who gave me advice on the free ramp. It was a little dicey driving down the gravel-turns-to-dirt road but other than that smooth sailing.
